MAITAʻI: TAHITIAN WORD FOR "EXCELLENCE"
Waikiki Sailing
Tradewind Sails
Experience the power of the wind! Hawaii is known for its prevailing, consistent “Tradewinds" that blow into Waikiki from the North East, coming around Le’ahi Crater to keep us cool. Beach catamarans are the best at catching these winds and using them to cruise outside the surfline. These 90-minute daytime sails feature lots of sun, a little splash, and a chance to see wildlife from sea birds to flying fish, and sometimes even dolphins and whales.

Afternoon Delite Sails
This sail is a perfect way to slow down and enjoy the afternoon: the sun is a little lower and less intense, but there is still plenty of time to see Waikiki’s legendary skyline, surfers and boats on the water, and very often, rainbows appear in the valleys.

Sunset Mai Tai Sails
Sunset sailing is calmer, and we cruise from Diamond Head along the coastline, giving you the best views and backdrops for photos and shared memories. While some wildlife does appear, this sail is all about the colors and light…and in the winter, a chance to glimpse the elusive green flash!

Maita'i Fireworks Sails
Grab a light jacket and join us for an evening adventure! Departing after sunset, we start this sparkling sail with front row seats for the Friday night fireworks. Once the booms fade, check out the boats and buildings painting the night sky with color and reflection. We cruise along the Waikiki shore, listening to mellow music and feeling relaxed.
